The 2010 New York Yankees season will be the 110th season for the New York Yankees franchise. The team will attempt to defend its status as American League and World Series champions. The Yankees will open and close the season against the Boston Red Sox at Fenway Park. This will mark the first time since 1950 this has happened. The Yankees and Dodgers will again renew their rivalry as the Bronx Bombers travel west to face former Yankee icons Joe Torre and Don Mattingly.

Maltese cross

The Maltese cross (also Amalfi cross) is identified as the symbol of an order of Christian warriors known as the Knights Hospitaller or Knights of Malta and through them came to be identified with the Mediterranean island of Malta and is one of the National symbols of Malta. The Maltese cross was depicted on the two mils coin in the old Maltese currency, and is now shown on the back of the one and two Euro coins, introduced in January 2008.

The cross is eight-pointed and has the form of four “V”-shaped arms joined together at their tips, so that each arm has two points. Its design is based on crosses used since the First Crusade. It was also the symbol of Amalfi, a small Italian republic of the 11th century.

In the United States what are called Maltese Crosses are often used by fire departments. For example New York City Fire Department and Philadelphia Fire Department both incorporate the “Maltese cross” in their insignias. This variant is known as the Saint Florian Cross.

With the economy being what it is today with a lot of people out of work and incomes down. I know how that is right know I’m on the unemployment line myself. I’ve been looking for different ideas I can use to change things in my own house. Money is tight out there for a lot of people even us, but you still you want to do something different to your house that you can afford to do and not break the budget.

Well I’ve been looking at this blank wall that we have in our house for a long time and not knowing what to do with it. Well I found a few Coca-Cola tin signs that I can put up on the wall and give it some color to match my decor. You don’t know how good it feels to be able to change one thing and make it fit in. Even thought it wasn’t a lot of money it made me believe that things will get better for this country. We all have to keep the faith.

Well in 21 days Santa will be comming. It’s still not to late to order your vintage tin sign.

If your like most moms everybody always want something different then you decide to make for dinner. I have done menu’s for the week.  Ask them what they would like on certain nights, but nothing seems to work.

Then I ran across this sign and decide it needs to go up in my kitchen as soon as it comes to the home. Maybe my guys will get the hint that what I fix for dinner is it.
